Episode 6- Marc Mann

HHRR is returning from a brief hiatus with my sixth episode, and it is an explosive one! I am doing the show a little differently, today I am showcasing an exceptional musician who has performed with iconic rock & roll legends. As a multifaceted artist, orchestrator, keyboardist, guitarist, programmer, arranger and conductor, his impressive collaborations include Oingo Boingo/Danny Elfman, ELO/Jeff Lynne, he is credited as a performer alongside Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney in ‘The Concert for George’! He shared guitar solos with Prince at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony of George Harrison “While my Guitar Gently Weeps” with Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Dhani Harrison, Jim Capaldi, and Steve Winwood. Marc has been credited on 50 albums and more than 80 film scores.

Marc gives me the exclusive on rumors surrounding his renowned guitar solo with Prince. In addition, Marc talks about working with Peter Asher, Neil Diamond and Michael Jackson. He shares a captivating story about working on the Beatles Anthology and brings two rare items to share with the podcast fans, making this Hidden History of Rock n’ Roll episode truly memorable! Hope you enjoy the show!
